Meet The Team
James Burke
BSc(Hons) MRICS C.Build.E FCABE FISVA
JRB was established in 2008 by James Burke, an experienced Chartered Surveyor and Valuer. James has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of the residential survey and valuation fields.
After completing his RICS accredited Honours Degree in 1995 he embarked on his professional surveying career with Savills International Property Consultants.
From then on James worked at a senior level in both the Public and Private sectors working with and advising both private and commercial clients on various aspects of survey and valuation work.
As well as being a Chartered Surveyor, James is also an experienced Chartered Building Engineer and is also a Fellow of the Independent Surveyors and Valuers Association.
Andrew Bennett
BSc(Hons) MRICS C.Build.E MCABE FISVA
Andrew has a background in engineering and building surveying, having worked in the Building Consultancy team of an international property consultancy for a number of years dealing with large scale building and maintenance projects, prior to transferring into the residential sector in 2004.
Andrew then worked for a national surveying practice, being tasked with carrying out survey and valuation work for lending institutions, pension funds, private investors and government bodies.
Andrew then joined JRB as a Director, to compliment the existing team and to help manage and grow the business with James.
Like James, as well as being an experienced Chartered Surveyor, Andrew is also an experienced Chartered Building Engineer. Andrew is also also a Fellow of the Independent Surveyors and Valuers Association.

RICS Level 2 Home Survey Homebuyer Survey
A Level 2 Home Report (formerly known as the HomeBuyer Report) Provides an internal and external inspection of the Property and reports on the condition of the property and can include the Surveyors opinion of the Market Value together with a reinstatement valuation if required
RICS Level 3 Home Survey Building Survey
(Formerly known as the Building Survey Report) JRB Chartered Surveyors are able to undertake a Full RICS compliant Level 3 Home Survey Reports, undertaken by an experienced Chartered Surveyor.
Help to Buy Valuations
We provide RICS Valuations in compliance with Target’s requirements. If you have a Help to Buy loan and are now selling your property or want to pay back the equity loan you will need an Independent Valuation Report from an RICS Registered Valuer to send to Target.
